                Mission Statement of Bryan College Athletic Training

The Athletic Training Staff at Bryan College exists to provide elite sports medicine care to our athletes while striving to create an atmosphere that accurately reflects the love and service of Jesus Christ.

   Program Goals

-Provide for the physical, spiritual, and emotional needs of the student-athletes at Bryan College

 

-Create an environment in which the love and service of Jesus Christ are openly communicated in the way we serve our student-athletes

 

-Return all injured athletes back to competition as safely and efficiently as possible

 

-Provide comprehensive and equal care to all athletes in a professional manner

 

-Seek to continually improve the quality of care by discovering and applying the most relevant and current sports medicine techniques

 

 

  Athletic Training Staff

 

T.J. Zinke, MS, ATC

Head Athletic Trainer

T.J. Zinke joined the Bryan College Athletic Training Staff in August of 2015. He graduated from Wheaton College in 2011 and received his master’s degree in athletic training from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2014. T.J. comes to Bryan after working as an assistant athletic trainer for one year at Covenant College. He and his wife, Meredith, currently live in Chattanooga.
 
                                                           

                                                          

 

Sean Shelton, MS, ATC

Assistant Athletic Trainer

Sean is new to the staff as of July 2016. He graduated from Anderson University (S.C.) in 2014 and completed his master’s degree in athletic training from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2016.

Sean currently resides in Hixson, Tenn.

       

 

 

Tracy Beyer, MA, ATC

Assistant Athletic Trainer

Tracy began working at Bryan in September 2016. She graduated with her Bachelor's of Science in Athletic Training from Penn State in 2013. She then did an athletic training internship at Coastal Carolina University working with the men's and women's soccer teams. After her internship she worked at Virginia Tech for two years with the women's volleyball and lacrosse programs while earning her Masters of Arts in Education in Curriculum and Instruction.
 
Tracy currently resides in Chattanooga.

 


Athletic Training Facilities

 

Bryan College Athletic Training provides electrical stimulation, ultrasound, bone stimulation, cold compressive, whirlpool, manual and rehabilitative therapies among many others.  Any student-athlete competing in intercollegiate athletics for Bryan College is welcome and encouraged to seek injury prevention counseling, evaluation, treatment, or rehabilitation for any ailment in the athletic training room.

 

The Bryan College Athletic Training Room is located directly off the north end of the main gymnasium within Summers Gymnasium on the campus of Bryan College.
