The Bryan College Women's Basketball Team hosted the Lady Crusaders of Tennessee Temple University on Monday evening for their first home game of the year. The Lady Lions won the game by a final score of 68-53.
  

The Lady Lions controlled the game from early on. There was only one lead change, and Bryan led 33-22 at halftime.

Morgan Burnette led the Lady Lions with 13 points and 15 rebounds. Bethany McArthur hit three 3-pointers to lead Bryan in scoring with 15 points. Anna Thomas tallied 14 points for the game. Mariah Britton finished with 12 points, 4 assists, and 3 steals. Sara Newton recorded 10 rebounds.

Bryan outrebounded their opponent 47-46. Both team had 16 turnovers for the game. The Lady Lions finished with 11 steals, 4 more than the Lady Crusaders. Bryan had 15 assists, compared to only 8 assists for Tennessee Temple.

The Lady Lions are now 2-0 overall. They play again on Saturday afternoon at Toccoa Falls College. Tipoff is scheduled for 2:00pm ET.
