The Bryan College Women's Basketball Team traveled to Union College on Saturday to take on the Lady Bulldogs in a conference game. The Lady Lions lost by a final score of 83-70.

The two teams went back and forth throughout the first half. The Lady Lions led by as many as six points, while the Lady Bulldogs led by as many as five points. The two teams went into the break with Bryan trailing 44-42. The Lady Lions cut the lead down to one point, 51-50, with 13:47 remaining; however, that was as close as they would get as the Lady Bulldogs then rattled off 15 unanswered points for their largest lead of the game. Union was able to hold Bryan off for the rest of the game.
  

Bryan shot 55.8% from the floor for the game, while holding Union to just 38.3%. Both teams tallied 34 rebounds for the game. The Lady Lions recorded 21 turnovers, eight more than their opponent.

Anna Thomas led the Lady Lions with 18 points and eight rebounds. Bethany McArthur added 15 points. Morgan Burnette finished with 13 points and a team high nine rebounds. Carrie Goodson dished out a game high seven assists.

The Lady Lions are now 12-8 overall and 3-6 in conference play. They play again on Wednesday at home in a conference game verse Tennessee Wesleyan College. Tipoff is scheduled for 5:30pm ET.
