The Bryan College Women's Basketball Team lost 65-35 to the Lady Bulldogs of Tennessee Wesleyan College on Tuesday evening in Summers Gymnasium. The Lady Bulldogs are currently ranked #20 in the nation.  The Lady Lions were never able to get a lead in the game. In the first half, they trailed by as much as 16 points as they headed into the break down 33-17. In the second half, Tennessee Wesleyan continued to pull away with the final score being their largest lead of the night.
  

The major difference of the game was the battle for the boards. The Lady Lions tallied 32 rebounds, but the Lady Bulldogs pulled in 54. Bryan shot 30.4% from the floor for the game, and TWC only shot 33.3% for the game. The Lady Lions recorded 14 turnovers, seven more than their opponent.

Sarah Newton led the Lady Lions with 10 points. Carrie Goodson and Anna Thomas added eight points apiece. Morgan Burnette finished with a team high seven rebounds.

The Lady Lions fall to 12-9 overall and 3-7 in the AAC. They play again on Saturday in a conference game at Columbia College. Tipoff is scheduled for 2:00pm ET.
