The Bryan College men's basketball program is proud to announce the signing of Brandon Cole. He is a 6'2, 230 lb. forward who played high school basketball at Stone Memorial High School. Cole averaged 26 points and 11 rebounds per game in his senior season and led his team, who was ranked #1 in the state for most of the year, all the way to the state tournament semi-finals. He received numerous awards and honors throughout his career, but his senior year included honors such as: Mr. Basketball Finalist, All-State Team, Knox News Sentinel Player of the Year, MVP of the Region Tournament, MVP of the District Tournament, and regular season MVP of the District.
When asked why he chose to continue his career at Bryan, Cole stated, "I really enjoyed my visit; it's close to home; I like Coach Rekoske; and Bryan has a good education, which is more important than anything."Bryan head coach Don Rekoske commented, "I'm really excited about Brandon playing here at Bryan. I think he was one of the best high school players in Tennessee this past year. My interest in him began his junior year when I saw him score 39 points and grab 23 rebounds in a state tournament game. Since that point I have probably recruited him as hard as anyone else in this recruiting class."
