"I am really excited to have Jason joining the Lions this year. Jason is a very hard worker. He has already worked with Robert and Danielle. Jason having that extra strength and control in the coed as well as traditional stunts will be fantastic. I am really looking forward to next fall and seeing how God will use this new team dynamic as well as Jason in the future," remarked Coach Perron.
Voiles was the 2011-2012 Cheerleading Captain of her high school team. She was named a 2011 UCA All-American. Voiles was voted by her squad as the 2011-2012 MVP. At the end of the 2008-2009 season she was selected Freshman the Year by the upperclassmen on the squad. She was voted Miss Mountaineer in 2011 and was a youth Cheerleading coach.
Voiles said that she chose Bryan because, "I plan to further my education and religion and I thought Bryan was just the place to settle down and start on the right path. I fell in love with the campus very quickly." She also commented, "I want to cheer at Bryan because the girls are so friendly. They make me feel right at home like I've cheered there for years. I plan to bring my many years of cheerleading knowledge to this squad."
Voiles also excelled in the classroom as she was a member of the A-Team, those who had an "A" average, all four years of high school. While attending Bryan, she will be pursuing a degree in Biology.Bryan Cheer Coach Janice Perron stated, "It will be wonderful to have Danielle on the team next year. She has already shown me her strength and flexibility. I can put her at any position, and she just does what is needed. That is such a great quality to have. She is also bringing with her experience from being on a coed team. This will be a great help with my present team and their transition to a coed team. I am amazed at watching how God put it all together for Danielle to join the Lions, and I can't wait to see what His plans are for her and the team next year."
