Brandon Cole was named the AAC's Men's Basketball Player of the Week. This is the third time that he has won the award; it has only been given six times so far this season. The 6'2 sophomore from Crossville, Tenn., received this honor for his performance on the court December 30 through January 5. Cole had an absolutely dominant week as he averaged 28.7 points per game and 13 rebounds per game throughout three games. Against Milligan he recorded a career high 20 rebounds to go with his 32 points. Cole ranks in the top 10 in Division II in six statistical categories. He is first in the AAC in double-doubles and rebounding and is second in scoring.
Cole will look to help lead the Lions in their two games this week as they take on conference opponents Tennessee Wesleyan and Union College.
