The Bryan College men's basketball team hosted the Bulldogs of Tennessee Wesleyan College tonight. The Lions scored the first basket of the game, but the Bulldogs scored the next nine points to take a lead that they would not relinquish. Bryan trailed 37-30 at halftime. The Lions were unable to make up any ground in the second half and lost by a final score of 81-67. The Lions are now 8-9 overall and 4-3 in the AAC.
Brandon Cole led the Lions in scoring with 27 points. He also had 8 rebounds. Robert Troino recorded 12 points and 6 rebounds. Logan Sharp added 10 points. Derrick Walker finished with 9 points and 7 rebounds.
Bryan shot 49.1% from the floor, while Tennessee Wesleyan shot 50.0%. The Lions won the battle on the boards 35-32 but lost the turnover battle 13-7.
The Lions play again Saturday at home verse Union College. Tipoff is scheduled for 4:00pm ET.
