The Bryan College men's basketball team hosted Berea College tonight. The Lions trailed for a majority of the first half and went into the break down 44-40. They came out in the second half and picked up their intensity on both ends of the floor. The Lions outscored their opponent 38-29 in the second half to come from behind and win by a final score of 78-73. The Bryan men are now 12-10 on the season.
Brandon Cole and Derrick Walker led the Lions to victory. Cole finished with 36 points and 5 rebounds, while Walker recorded 25 points and 11 rebounds. Robert Troino ended with 7 points and 4 assists.
Bryan shot 55.9% from the floor, while Berea shot 37.3%. The Lions won the battle on the boards 34-23. Bryan finished with 10 turnovers for the game; Berea had 9.
The Lions play again Wednesday at Point University. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:30pm ET.
