The Bryan College men's basketball team competed against the Buffaloes of Milligan College today. The Buffaloes jumped out to a 17-2 lead and continued to create separation for the rest of the first half. Bryan trailed 56-29 at intermission. The Lions outscored the Buffaloes 36-32 in the second half, but they couldn't overcome their first half deficit. The Bryan men lost by a final score of 88-65, falling to 14-11 overall and 9-5 in the AAC.
Bryan shot 41.8% from the floor, while Milligan shot 45.0% for the game. The Lions lost the battle on the boards 42-38. Bryan finished with 15 turnovers for the game; Milligan had 10.
The Lions play again on Wednesday at home verse Montreat College. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:30pm ET.
