Bryan College men's basketball team traveled to West Point Georgia to take on Point University on Saturday. The first half was close throughout as the teams exchanged leads several times. Brandon Cole and Tyler Yoder played well the first half, but the Lion's struggled on the glass for the first time this year as Point got several second chance opportunities. Bryan made a basket just before half by Oteriah Lee to go into the locker room with a 41-39 lead. In the second half Bryan used a balanced attack with four different players scoring in double figures and a better half on the glass. A Robert Troino three-point shot gave the Lions their largest lead of the game at 62-50, but Point continued to make plays as they got as close as 74-70 before Bryan eventually prevailed with a score of 80-73. For the game Brandon Cole had another stellar performance with 29 points and 7 rebounds, Tyler Yoder had 15 points, Oteriah Lee had 12 points and 11 assists, and Robert Troino had 12 points and 6 boards. Bryan outshot Point 50% to 42%, Bryan had 7 fewer turnovers than Point: 19-12, but Point outrebounded Bryan 36 to 32.
