Bryan College Men's Soccer is pleased to welcome the two newest commitments. Jedediah Mootsey and Josh Kirkland will both be joining the Lions for the 2009 season.
Jedediah Mootsey is a 5' 10" midfielder from St. Petersburg, FL. He attended Keswick Christian School where he served as captain of the varsity squad. Mootsey set the school record of 6 goals in a game and currently holds the school record for assists in a single game (7). Jedediah will bring added depth to the Lions for the upcoming season.
Josh Kirkland has finished up a fine career at Grace Academy in Charlotte, NC, where he was the leading goal scorer in each of the past 3 seasons. As team captain, he earned Offensive MVP honors at the conference and national level while winning a NACA national title. Josh will be expected to add depth to the striker position for next year.
Kirkland also excels in the classroom, where he maintains a 4.0 GPA and an ACT score of 30, enabling him to come to Bryan as a Presidential Merit Scholar.
