After not being able to play Friday, Saturday, or Monday due to inclement weather the baseball team was finally able to get in two of three games against Union College on Tuesday. The third game will be rescheduled for a later date.
 
In the first game, the Lions were held scoreless. JD Davis and Zach Bowe accounted for the only two hits that the Lions had for the game. Daniel Zimmerman was the starting and losing pitcher for Bryan. He pitched 6 innings and gave up 3 runs on 8 hits, while walking 3 batters and striking out 6. Ben Young pitched the 7th inning and gave up 3 runs.

In the second game, the Lions were able to score a run but gave up 6 again to the Bulldogs. Zach Bowe had 2 of Bryan's 7 hits. The Lions' run came as Jon Brown knocked in Brantley Hattrich in the 4th inning. Zach Breazeale was the starting and losing pitcher for Bryan. He pitched 4 & 2/3 innings, giving up 6 runs on 6 hits. He walked 2 and struck out 3. Mark Barnwell came in to get the last out and gave up a hit while walking 2 in the process. Brantley Hattrich pitched the last 2 innings, giving up only 1 hit and walking only 1 batter while striking out 2.

The Lions are now 4-20 overall and 0-8 in the conference. They will travel to UVA-Wise for a 3-game series on Thursday and Friday. The first game is scheduled for Thursday at 7:30 PM ET.
