The Lions traveled down to Marietta, GA yesterday to take on the Hornets of Southern Polytechnic State University in a doubleheader. The Lions dropped both games.
In the first game the Lions got down 0-7 before scoring a run in the last inning to keep from getting shut out. Zach Bowe accounted for 2 of the team's 3 hits. Brantley Hattrich was the starting and losing pitcher for the Bryan. He pitched 4 & 2/3 innings, giving up 5 runs on 7 hits. He did not walk anyone and struck out 2. Ben Young came in and pitched the last 1 & 1/3 innings giving up 2 runs on 1 hit.
