Bryan College Track and Field had a busy weekend. The Lions hosted a track meet along with Walker Valley High School on Friday night in Charleston, Tennessee. The meet featured both high school and collegiate competition. The next morning they traveled to Sewanee, Tennessee for the Mountain Laurel Invitational.
Josh Bradley and Bryson Harper finished first and second on Friday in the men's 1500 meter run at Walker Valley's David W. Lewis Track. Bradley ran 4:01.22 for the victory.  Freshman Ericka Simpson took second in the women's 1500 meter at 5:20.61.
Bradley, Harper, and Zach Buffington swept the top three places in the men's 1500 meter race at the University of the South's Coughlan Track on Saturday. Colby Smith and Bryson Harper took the top two spots in the men's 800 meter run.
"It was a fun night at Walker Valley with the high school and college races. I'm hoping it is something we continue to do. The weather was nice, but Saturday's weather was the best we've ever had at Sewanee. We have had some nice training of late and I look forward to what our athletes can accomplish in two weeks at the conference championship," said Head Coach Rodney Stoker.
The Lions travel to Cullowhee, North Carolina for the AAC Outdoor Championship on April 16th and 17th.
