Harriman, TN - Bryan College is proud to announce that Josh King has signed a Letter of Intent to play baseball for the 2010 season. Josh is currently playing for Coach Larry Works at Roane State Community College. He will transfer to Bryan as a junior.
In high school, Josh played for Roane County High School. During his senior year, he was Offensive Player of the Year for his team and made the All-District and All-Region Teams. Josh also made the All-State team both his junior and senior years.
Roane State Assistant Coach David Lane said, "Bryan College is getting one quality young man. He is a good fit for the college and the college is a good fit for him. He is hard working and has good talent. He will help Bryan's baseball team move in the right direction."
"He loves the game and his teammates, and that is the kind of kid we want in our program," commented Bryan College Head Coach Taylor Hasty. At Bryan, Josh will hit in the middle of the lineup and play in the outfield. "Josh is a fundamental player and will help us be a lot more talented. He's also a competitor who wants to win and succeed," said Coach Hasty about his future player.
Josh is excited about joining the Bryan baseball team. He said he looks forward to starting at a new school and with a new program.
