The Lions traveled on Wednesday to Cleveland, TN to take on the Flames of Lee University. Unfortunately, the game was never really close as the Flames scored 4 runs in the 1st inning and kept it going, scoring 16 runs for the game. Will Newman and Steven Brown had the Lions only 2 hits for the game. Four pitchers saw the mound for the Lions. Brantley Hattrich was the starting and losing pitcher for Bryan. He pitched for 3 innings, giving up 7 runs on 8 hits. Zach Breazeale pitched the next inning and gave up 1 run and no hits. Tyler Brown came in and pitched an inning, giving up 2 runs on 2 hits. Ben Young pitched the last inning and gave up 6 runs on 5 hits.

The Lions are now 4-39 overall. They play again this Friday and Saturday at Virginia Intermont College (1-29, 0-20). Friday's game is scheduled to start at 4:00 PM ET, and Saturday's doubleheader is scheduled to start at 12:00 PM ET.
