The Lions played host to the Bulldogs of Tennessee Wesleyan in a makeup game last night. The Bulldogs are currently ranked #1 in the conference and played like it, defeating the Lions 16-5.
Bryan had a total of 10 hits for the game. Zach Bowe and Brantley Hattrich each went 3 for 4 from the plate for the game, while Doug Stroup went 2 for 3. Zach Breazeale was the starting and losing pitcher for the Lions. He pitched the first 2 innings, giving up 5 runs on 6 hits. Tyler Brown came in and pitched the next 3 & 2/3 innings, giving up 4 runs on 7 hits. Zach Gray came in to finish the last out of the 6th inning, giving up one hit and no runs. Ben Young pitched the next 2 innings, giving up 7 runs on 8 hits. Drew Brown pitched the last inning, giving up no runs and 2 hits.
