In addition to golf, Taylor is a member of the Junior Heart Board and has maintained a GPA of 3.3. She is an active member at Parkwood Baptist Church in her hometown. Also, she serves at her school by assisting with day care.
"We are extremely excited to sign a top-caliber player like Taylor who has shown great improvement over the past couple of years," said Head Bryan College Golf Coach, Peter Bollant. "Her golf game is rising to a very high level, and she has the opportunity to become a highly respected competitor at the conference level next year. The addition of Taylor to an already talented group of ladies we signed this year will give our team a great shot at moving to the very highest level of the Appalachian Athletic Conference. As well as being remarkable on the course, Taylor is an even better person. She represents so much of what we want at Bryan College in seeking young men and women who want to be educated to be disciples of our Lord Jesus and truly impact our world. Her commitment to excellence both on and off the course gives her the ability to be a real leader. Coming from a strong family and a strong school that believes in these ideals gives Taylor the foundation to be successful in all areas of life."
