Asheville, N.C. - On Monday, the league announced the first edition of the weekly honors for Appalachian Athletic Conference Baseball Pitcher and Player of the Week, and Bryan College's Wade Weinburger (FR/James Cistern, Bahamas) was named the Player of the Week.

He has 21 RBIs, 6 doubles, 24 hits, and has scored a team-high 29 runs. He is batting .364 and owns a .803 slugging percentage. He's also third on the team with 8 stolen bags. He ranks 10th in the NAIA in homeruns, 11th in total runs scored, 22nd in runs scored per game (1.381), 28th in home runs per game (0.333), 37th in total bases (53), and 41st in slugging percentage.
