Dayton, Tenn. - The Bryan College Lions Cheer Team is glad to announce the most recent addition to the squad, Chloe Golbuff, who is making the long trip from Santa Ynez, Calif. to the Bryan campus to continue her cheer career. She currently attends Santa Ynez High School where she is very involved in school, church, and community.
Her contagious personality led to her earning the "Most Pirate Pride" honors at her school. She invests her spare time as a member of the National Honor Society and president of the high school's vocal ensemble. She is thankful for being selected as one of five speakers who will share at the 6th Annual Community Prayer Breakfast in Santa Ynez Valley on May 4, 2017.
When asked about why she chose Bryan, Golbuff explained that the Lord's leading is the driving force behind why she is making the cross-country trip. "Bryan is the right fit, and God has made it clear that He is calling me to become a Lion," said Golbuff. "I am anxious to continue cheering at the collegiate level and look forward to supporting the team in every capacity possible."
When she comes to Bryan in the fall of '17, she plans to major in business.
"We are extremely excited to have Chloe joining the Bryan Lions," remarked Bryan Cheer Coach, Janice Perron. "After our first conversation, I knew she was supposed to be a Lion because of the congeniality her and Bryan share and that she could be an integral part of the cheer team. She flew across the country for our scholarship weekend and seeing her love for the Lord, teammates, and cheer in person sealed the deal. I can't wait to see how God uses and grows Chloe during her time at Bryan."
