Dayton, Tenn. – The bracket is set, and the eight-team double-elimination 2017 Appalachian Athletic Conference Baseball Tournament will be getting underway Wednesday morning at Hunter Wright Stadium in Kingsport, Tenn. with Tennessee Wesleyan University holding down the No. 1 seed, Point University (Ga.) sitting as the No. 2 seed, and the Bryan College Lions falling closely behind as the No. 3 seed. All four of the top teams, Reinhardt University (Ga.) at No. 4, pieced together notable overall records with each side reaching at least 30 overall wins. Tennessee Wesleyan and Point University share notable 20-7 records in AAC play, earning the title of regular-season co-champions. However, Tennessee Wesleyan received the No. 1 seed for the tournament, because they swept the three-game series from Point during the regular-season.

Bryan battled their way to an overall record of 35-16 and conference record of 17-10, while knocking off five top-25 opponents along the way.
