Bryan College is pleased to announce the hiring of Nathan Beuster as the new pitching coach. Coach Beuster comes to Bryan from Lindenwood University (MO), where he spent the last two seasons as their pitching coach.  He helped lead the Lions to two consecutive 40-win seasons, accompanied by two conference championships.

Coach Beuster graduated in December of 2007 from Culver-Stockton (MO) where he helped pitch the Wildcats to two regular season championships. During his senior year, Beuster made a super-regional appearance with Culver after winning the regional title.
Bryan Head Baseball Coach, Taylor Hasty, is excited about the hiring of Beuster. "As we seek to build a championship program, bringing in Coach Beuster is a big step in the right direction. We have had a great 2009-2010 recruiting class, with some very solid arms and the work that Coach Beuster will do with our pitchers will greatly increase our opportunity for a solid 2010 season," remarked Coach Hasty.
Coach Beuster brings a deep knowledge of pitching, a strong desire to work hard and wants to see young men develop both on and off the field. Beuster described his coaching philosophy this way: "The end result of our baseball season will include wins and losses, but it will go beyond that as well - how these men develop and how they conduct themselves and what they learn about life is paramount." Coach Beuster also understands the need for Christ in his own life and for sharing his relationship with Christ with others, "I want to do my part to make sure that our players know Christ is available to them and that He is always faithful."
Coach Beuster and his wife, Emily, will reside in Dayton, TN.
