Dayton, TN - Kyle Gramig has signed a letter of intent to play baseball for Bryan College. He currently plays for the Eagles of Fort Knox High School.
As a co-captain during his Junior season Kyle had the leading batting average on his team, hitting an average of .446. He was also named to the All 17 District Tournament Team and was named All Area Honorable Mention. He will be the captain for the Eagles as a Senior this season.
When asked why he chose Bryan, Kyle said it feels like home. He likes the small college atmosphere and he feels likes Bryan is a great fit. As for baseball, he said, "The baseball program is on its way up. I like the coaches and their philosophy. I also like how they run practice."
"Kyle comes from a good family and is a young man of character who will represent the team and the college well," commented Bryan Head Coach Taylor Hasty. As to what Kyle will be like on the field Coach Hasty said, "As Kyle gets bigger and stronger he is going to develop into a solid player at the college level." Kyle will be a 1st baseman for the Lions.
Kyle has a 3.4 grade point average at Fort Knox High School. While attending Bryan he will major in Business Administration.
