The Lady Lions lost both of their games this weekend at Asbury College. They dropped their first game to NCCAA preseason ranked #9 Asbury 0-5. The next day they fell to Campbellsville 0-2.
 
On Friday night, the Lady Lions competed against host team Asbury College. At halftime, the score was tied at 0-0. However, they gave up 5 goals in the second half. The Lady Lions were outshot 16-9.
On Saturday, the Lady Lions fell to Campbellsville. There was one goal scored in each half. The Lady Lions were outshot 16-5.
"It was a competitive environment. We played two great teams in Asbury and Campbellsville. They helped us realized the level of play that we need to achieve if we are going to have success," commented Head Coach Mark Sauve.
The Lady Lions are now 1-2. They will play again on Tuesday at home against Truett-McConnell College. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30pm ET.
