The Lady Lions traveled to Athens, TN,  last night for a conference match against the Lady Bulldogs of Tennessee Wesleyan College. It took extra time, but the Lady Lions came home with the victory.

With the score 0-0 at the end of regulation, the match went into overtime. In the 101^st minute of the match Carli Milligan shot the ball over the keeper and into the back of the net to end the game and give the Lady Lions the win. Bryan outshot the Lady Bulldogs 10-8, 8-3 on goal.

The Lady Lions are now 3-6 overall and 2-2 in the Appalachian Athletic Conference. They play again today, Wednesday, at home against the Lady Crusaders of Tennessee Temple University. Kickoff is scheduled for 2:00pm ET.
