Bryan College's Bennie Bardales was named the National Christian College Athletic Association Men's Soccer Division I National Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of October 5-11.  Bennie is a 5'8" junior from Mesquite, TX.  October 5-11 was Bennie's first week back on the pitch after missing several weeks for health reasons.  Wednesday, October 6, was his first game back.  Although he played less than 20 minutes, Bennie scored the Lions game-winning goal over the rivaled Covenant College Scots.  In his second game back on October 10, he scored 2 goals and had an assist against conference opponent Virginia Intermont.
