The Lady Lions volleyball team only needed 57 minutes to sweep Tennessee Wesleyan at home in AAC play on Tuesday night. The Lions improved to 11-1 in conference play (19-12 overall), keeping them ½ a game back from Union College.
 
Game scores were 25-13, 25-6, 25-16. Bryan's coach Leo Sayles rested Senior setter Hannah Suits, giving reserve Sarah Thacker the start in her place. Thacker dished out 9 assists in her first start, while fellow setter Amanda Manke added 25 as the Lions utilized three different lineups through the match. Junior OH Alison Young hit .421 with 10 kills in the victory. The Lions hit .418 overall, their best offensive effort of the season. Freshman MB Kaylan Dilts was strong from the serving line, serving up 4 aces in the match.
 
The Lions travel this weekend with key conference match-ups at Bluefield on Friday and UVA-Wise on Saturday.
