The women's soccer team hosted the Lady Eagles of Reinhardt College last night. The Lady Lions defeated the Lady Eagles 4-1 in their last regular season conference match.

Reinhardt College struck first, taking a 1-0 lead 12 minutes into the game. However, the Lady Lions settled down and scored two goals by halftime. The first came from Lizy Peters off a rebound on a shot from Stacy Tatum in the 31st minute. The second goal came two-and-a-half minutes later in the 34th minute. Lizy Peters threw the ball in to Liz Ponto, who turned on her defender from just outside the corner of the eighteen, and struck a great shot that hit side netting on the far post. The first half ended with the Lady Lions ahead 2-1.
In the second half, Bryan struck two more times. In the 62nd minute, Lindsey Robinson stole the ball from a Reinhardt defender, giving her a one-on-one with the keeper, and placed the ball past the keeper and into the back of the net. The final goal came in the 66th minute. Carli Milligan crossed the ball into the box, Chelsea Parham touched the ball down to the pitch, and Kathryn DeRhodes struck the ball into the goal.
The Lady Lions improve to 7-7-1 overall and 4-2-1 in the conference. They play their last game of the regular season on Saturday at home against the University of Alabama-Huntsville. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:30pm ET.
