The Lady Lions' volleyball team spoiled Bluefield College's senior night by sweeping the host team 25-16, 25-20, 25-18 in an AAC match on Friday. The Lions improved their record to 12-1 in the conference, and achieved their fourth consecutive 20-win season as they improved overall to 20-12.

Amber Smith led the Lion attack with 13 kills (.333 pct) and was dominant on the block, returning three solo and 7 assisted blocks. Smith's effort helped the Lions stuff 15 total blocks in the match. Alison Young added 11 kills (.321 pct) and freshman Danna Myatt came off the bench to hit .545 with 7 kills. Setters Amanda Manke and Hannah Suits dished 30 assists combined, and Jessica Kaya contributed 11 digs for the Lions.

Bryan travels to UVA-Wise on Saturday for their final conference match on the road.
