Bryan Volleyball players Alison Young and Amber Smith won AAC weekly honors for their play in guiding the Lions to a three 3-game sweep in conference play last week.

Alison Young was named the AAC Player of the week for her efforts.  The Junior OH averaged 9 kills in the three sweeps, and hit .349 for the week.  Young also tied her personal record in service aces with four in the win over UVA-Wise on Saturday.
Smith, the leading MB in the AAC, was named the AAC Hitter of the week for her efforts as well. Smith averaged over three kills per game and hit .352.  Her blocking performance against Bluefield was a game-changer.  Smith led the Lions' 15-block effort with 3 solo and 7 assisted blocks.
"Amber and Alison have been cornerstones of our program this season," said Bryan Head Coach Leo Sayles.
The Lions host their final matches this Saturday against Montreat at 10:00am ET and Milligan at 1:00pm ET.
