The #2 Lady Lions volleyball team got off to a good start on Tuesday in AAC tourney pool play.  The Lions swept Virginia Intermont College 3-0 (25-11, 25-16, 25-14) behind the play of MB Amber Smith (11 kills, .450 pct, 4 blocks).
 
A combined effort up front led to the Lions' highest hitting percentage in conference play this season (.391), with six players finishing with 4 or more kills. The Lions also recorded 8 aces with Hannah Suits, Alison Young, and Courtney Cotter each tallying two.  Suits and Amanda Manke combined for 36 assists in the win. 

Bryan will play Reinhardt College to wrap up pool play on Wednesday at 6:00pm ET.
