Down 2-1 in the series, the Red Team needed to sweep the final day doubleheader in order to win the series.  Senior right hander, Ben Young, stepped up again for the Red Team, allowing 3 runs over 6 innings and only one walk.  Junior outfielder Doug Stroup led the offense for Red, going 3-4 with 5 RBI.  The lineup for Red was hot, with every hitter scoring at least once and recording a hit as the Red Team was dominant in Game 4 winning 13-3 in six innings.

Senior Daniel Zimmerman took the loss for the White Team, allowing 5 earned runs over the course of 3 innings with 5 strikeouts. Things seemed to be looking up for the White Team after placing 2 runs on the board in the top of the 2nd and 3rd innings. Entering the bottom half of the 4th inning, it looked like Zimmerman had found his rhythm and White was poised to make a comeback. However, the Red Team took advantage of some early walks in the inning and put up 6 runs to put the game out of reach in the fourth. White scored 1 more run in the top of the 6th but that was followed by 2 more runs by Red in the bottom half invoking the 10-run rule.
In game 2 of the doubleheader, Freshman right hander Josh Harris started for White and redshirt Sophomore Kemonte Keesee was on the mound for the Red Team. Both Harris and Keesee were excellent for their respective teams. Harris went 5 innings, striking out 9 and allowing 1 run. Keesee went 6 innings with 4 strikeouts, also allowing 1 run.
Red Team went on the board first after Junior shortstop JD Davis reached base on a single to right. He stole second and scored on a single by Senior first baseman Pablo Rodriguez. Keesee was able to hold the 1-run lead through 5 innings, but in the top of the 6th Inning White was finally able to push a run across. Sophomore Steven Brown led the inning off with a single followed by another single by Freshman Daniel Leslie, pushing Brown to third. Senior outfielder Joseph Delrosario scored Brown from third on a sacrifice fly to deep right field to tie the game.
Freshman left hander Tyler Vakey came into to pitch for White in the bottom of the 6th inning. Vakey allowed the winning run after walking Rodriguez to lead off the inning, followed by a double by Junior outfielder Josh King
In the top of the 7th inning, Junior Michael Edwards came in and finished off the White Team to get the save. Only needing 7 pitches, Edwards retired White in order.
"It was a great series," commented Zimmerman, of the White Team, following the doubleheader, "Of course, we are disappointed we lost, but the series could not have been played any better." Senior Ryan Henn, of the Red Team, had similar thoughts: "I thought the series was hard-fought and had a lot of good baseball."
