Bryan College's men's cross country team, along with several members of the women's team that qualified, are in Vancouver, WA, for the 2009 NAIA Men's and Women's Cross Country Championships. The meet will take place on Saturday, November 21, at the Fort Vancouver Historical Site and is hosted by Cascade Collegiate Conference and Concordia (Ore.) University. The men's race begins at 1:30pm ET, and the women's race begins at 2:45pm ET. 

The men's team won their conference meet giving them an automatic bid to the national meet. Bryan College finished the season as #9 in the NAIA national rankings. They will be competing against 31 other teams and 102 individual qualifiers from all over the nation. The Lions will be trying to dethrone Malone University, who has won the event the past two years. The men's team includes the following: Alex Stephens, Bryson Harper, Colby Smith, Daniel Goetz, Drew Thompson, Hunter Hall, Jake Bradley, Jason McLeod, Josh Bradley and Zach Buffington.

Bryan's Ericka Simpson, Liz Olsen and Alyssia Lindsay qualified as individuals for the national meet. They will compete against 32 teams and 114 other individual qualifiers.
