Vancouver, WA - The Bryan College women's program was represented by three ladies for the first time at the 30th annual NAIA Women's Cross Country National Championship. Sophomore Ericka Simpson led the way with a time of 20:59 over the five-kilometer course. California State-San Marcos University won the women's title, while Shorter College's Justyna Mudy took the individual victory.

Liz Olsen finished ten seconds behind Simpson at 21:09, while sophomore Alyssia Lindsay crossed the line in 21:58.

"Our women competed well today and we've seen many firsts for the program. They gained valuable experience today, and it is something that will help us down the road," commented Head Coach Rodney Stoker.
