The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the student-athletes that have been named 2009 Daktronics-NAIA Women's Soccer Scholar-Athletes. The Lady Lions had 6 student-athletes receive this award. 

Carrie Cook (Sr.) - Jasper, TX

Jennifer McCue (Jr.) - Charlotte, NC

Kara Nissley (Jr.) - Alexandria, VA

Shelby Robinson (Jr.) - Atlanta, GA

Stephanie Wade (Sr.) - St. Simons Island, GA

Elizabeth Peters (Sr.) - Sherwood, AR

Nominated by each institution's head coach, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and have achieved junior academic status to qualify.
