The Bryan College Men's Golf Program is proud to announce the signing of Adam Forgey. He is currently attending Chattanooga State Community College. Forgey graduated from Bledsoe County High School in 2007. He will be transferring to Bryan for this coming Spring semester.

At Bledsoe, Forgey played for Coach Carl Boyton. He qualified for the Class AA State Tournament in his sophomore and senior years. Forgey was named to the 2nd Team Best of Preps by the Chattanooga Times Free Press as a sophomore. During his senior year, he won the High School Invitational at Willowbrook Country Club; he shot a 72.

Forgey said that the timing of Bryan starting a golf program was perfect as he has been looking for a quality school to attend first and foremost, and the opportunity to play golf second. After signing he said, "I felt like attending Bryan was the Lord's will for my life." While at Bryan, Forgey will pursue a degree in Business and minor in Ministry.

Bryan Head Coach Peter Bollant commented, "We are really excited about signing a former two-time state tournament participant and All-Prep Member. It gives our team another member who can really score low numbers. With Adam and a couple other signees, we should be very competitive in the Appalachian Athletic Conference."

Forgey started playing competitive golf at an early age. At age 11 he played in five tournaments on the Vince Gill Junior Tour, and then at 12 he won 2 of the 6 tournaments he played in on the Vince Gill Junior Tour. As a 14-year-old freshman, he won the Club Championship at Fall Creek Falls Golf Club. He also won two tournaments on the Vince Gill Junior Tour as s sophomore in the Masters Division. In his junior year, Forgey finished third in a U.S.J.G.T. event in Chattanooga, TN.
