Last season for the Lady Tigers, Combs hit .280 with 31 runs batted in, 5 homeruns and 6 doubles. Bryan College Head Coach Rocky Stinson said, "Courtney will bring both skill and power to the plate. We will use fall workouts to increase her power potential even more. Defensively, I believe that she has the ability to do well at first base."
Combs said, "I chose Bryan because it is a small Christian school. I've known for a little while now that I wanted to go there, and I am glad to get the signing taken care of." Combs wants to become a first grade teacher, so she will be studying Elementary Education during her time at Bryan.
