The Bryan College Women's Basketball Team cracked the NAIA's Division II Women's Basketball Coaches' Top 25 Poll, which was released last night. It is the first time since the 2006-2007 season that the Lady Lions have been nationally ranked.

After winning two conference games last week to take sole possession of first place in the conference, Bryan was voted into the Top 25. The Lady Lions are currently 13-4 overall and 4-1 in the conference. They will look to continue working their way up the poll if they can get wins this week at Montreat College on Wednesday, and then at home on Saturday against Bluefield College, who is receiving votes but not in the Top 25.

The Lady Lions are not only doing well on the court, but are excelling in the classroom. They had a 3.30 team grade point average last semester. Also, 10 of the 12 varsity players had a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
