The Lions went on the road last night to take on the Cavaliers of Montreat College. The Lions dominated the game, winning by a final score of 77-57. It was Bryan's fourth consecutive win and fourth consecutive conference win. 

The Lions went into the locker room leading 40-30 after Victor Underwood hit his second 3-pointer to end the half. Coming out of the break, Bryan began to heat up. Shooting 72% from the floor in the second half the Lions led by as many as 27 points, putting the game well out of reach.

The Lions outrebounded the Cavaliers 38-19. Bryan made 14 free throws for the game while Montreat only attempted 7. The Lions defense tallied 12 steals. The Lions had one of their best games of the year from beyond the 3-point arc hitting 5 of their 9 attempts (56.9%).

The Lions were led by Astral Guerrier, who finished with his third straight double-double with21 points and 12 rebounds. Keith Bauer added 17 points and 8 rebounds. Xavierian McCall had 15 points. Scott Newton finished with 11 points and 9 rebounds. Victor Underwood came off the bench to play well and score 6 points.

Montreat was led in scoring by Vincent Dombrowski and Seth Moore, who finished with 15 and 12 points respectively. They were the only two Cavaliers to score in double digits.

The Lions are now 12-5 overall and 5-1 in the conference. They are still sitting in a 3-way tie for first place in the AAC. They play again on Saturday, at home, against the Rams of Bluefield College. Tipoff is scheduled for 4:00pm ET.
