The Lady Lions traveled to Waleska, GA, on Saturday to take on the Lady Eagles of Reinhardt College. The Lady Lions woes continue, as they lost by eight.
Bryan was outscored by 4 points in each half. They were outscored 31-35 in the first half and 36-40 in the second half, to lose by a final of 75-67.
The Lady Lions continued their dominance on the glass, outrebounding their opponents 45-26. Bryan lost the turnover battle, as they had 23 turnovers while only forcing the Lady Eagles into 11.
The Lady Lions were led in scoring by Amber Smith, who had 22 points. Bethany McArthur added 11 points. Anna Thomas finished with a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds. Jessica Southern also had 10 points.
Reinhardt was led in scoring by Jaybriel Guyton and Jemere McCurty, who had 18 and 16 points respectively.
The Lady Lions are now 13-8 overall and 4-5 in the AAC. Monday's at Hiwassee College has been rescheduled for Monday, February 1st. They will play again on Wednesday at home against conference opponent Union College. Tipoff is scheduled for 5:30pm ET.
