The Lady Lions traveled to Virginia to take on Virginia Intermont College. The game took place at Virginia High School. Unfortunately, the Lady Lions were defeated 58-53.

The Lady Cobras jumped out to 22-10 lead, their biggest of the game. Bryan finished the half on a 12-2 run to go into halftime down 24-22. The second half belonged to V.I. again, as they outscored the Lady Lions 34-31.

Bryan outrebounded their opponents once again, 31-25. The battle on the free throw line was closer this game, but the Lady Lions did outscore the Lady Cobras by 2 points in the game. Bryan struggled again from beyond the arc, not hitting any of their four attempts.

The Lady Lions were led in scoring by Anna Thomas with 17 points. Jessica Southern finished with a double-double, scoring 15 points while grabbing 11 rebounds. Amber Smith added 11 points.

The Lady Cobras were led by Priscilla Moseh, who scored 18 points.

The Lady Lions are now 16-11 overall and 6-8 in the AAC. They play again on Wednesday at Bluefield College. Tipoff is scheduled for 5:30pm ET.
