Clemson, SC - Bryan College track and field traveled to Clemson University's Tiger Tune Up for their indoor regular season finale. The Lions captured four top-five finishes inside the Clemson Indoor Track & Field Complex, and completes their preparations for the NAIA Indoor Track & Field Championships in two weeks' time.
Leading the Lions was senior Josh Bradley (Ringgold, GA), who took the top spot in the men's 800-meter run with a season best time of 1:54.36. Freshman Alex Stephens (Cleveland, TN) won the second section in the same event with a career best of 2:00.44.
Junior Zach Buffington (Ooltewah, TN) and senior Daniel Goetz (Chattanooga, TN) finished 3rd and 4th in the men's 3000-meter run, clocking 8:45.64 and 8:56.61 respectively.
Freshman Alyssia Lindsay (Spring City, TN) set an indoor best with her 2:30.91 in the women's 800-meter run.
Bryson Harper (Pikeville, TN) raced to a 5th-place finish in the men's mile, crossing the line at 4:21.71. Freshmen Jason McLeod (Ocoee, FL) and Drew Thompson (Murfreesboro, TN) were 8th and 9th in the same race, with times of 4:24.74 and 4:26.45 respectively.
The Lions will compete next on March 4-6 when they travel to Johnson City, TN, for the
NAIA Indoor Track & Field Championships.
