The Bryan College Softball Program is proud to announce the signing of Brittany Tipton. She will be transferring in as a junior from Cleveland State Community College. Tipton is a right-handed pitcher who played high school ball at Sale Creek High School.

As a freshman at Cleveland State, Tipton tallied 9 wins and had an earned run average of 3.78. From the plate, she had 10 RBIs in just 45 appearances. She will be playing her sophomore year for the Lady Cougars this spring.

Tipton commented, "I am really excited about going to Bryan and to help start the new program and be a part of that. Also, they have a really good teaching program and that's what I want to be when I graduate. It's close to home, too, and that always helps."

Bryan College Head Coach Rocky Stinson said, "As we start the new softball program here at Bryan, I wanted someone in the circle that had experience and I think that Brittany will help us out right away. Cleveland State plays a lot of the teams in our conference, and she has done really well against most of them. I think that her experience will help her be a leader on our team, and that is very important when you are starting a program."
