The Lions traveled to Waleska, GA, Monday to play in a doubleheader against the Reinhardt College Eagles. The Lions split the doubleheader, dropping the first game and winning the second game in extra innings.
  

In game one, the Lions fell 10-8. Shane Clawson led the Lions offensively, going 3-for-4 from the plate with 1 run batted in and scoring twice. Joseph Delrosario went 2-for-2. Josh Harris tallied 3 RBIs. Josh King and Jordan Day each had an RBI. Relief pitcher Ben Young received the loss.

In game two, the Lions defeated the Eagles 4-3 in 9 innings. Jonathan Davis hit a single in the top of the 9th to score Josh King from third. Shane Clawson again led the Lions on offense, going 3-for-5 with 1 RBI and scoring once. Pablo Rodriguez added 2 hits and 2 RBIs. Pitcher Zack Breault started the game, but earned a no-decision after pitching 6.2 innings, giving up 3 runs on 8 hits and striking out 5 batters. Reliever Josh Smith came and shut out the Eagles the last 2.1 innings, giving up 0 hits, to earn the win.
