The Bryan College Softball Program is proud to announce the signing of Brooke Rackel. She is currently a senior at Bishop Grandin High School in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

Rackel started playing softball as a four-year-old. She has played for Calgary's All-Star Team for several years. "Softball is my number one sport; it's my bread and butter," commented Rackel.

"Brooke brings a lot of skill to the 4/5 hole of our lineup. A power-hitting lefty will help balance our game from the left side. She also gives us another potential starter in the circle. Being the only left-handed pitcher signed will help shake things up for opposing hitters as well," said Bryan Head Coach Rocky Stinson, "Brooke also brings the same drive to the classroom, as she will be majoring in Bryan's Pre-Med Program."
