Bryan College Cheerleading is proud to announce the signing of Amy Newport. She is a local student out of Spring City, who is finishing up her senior year at Rhea County High School.

Newport said, "I chose Bryan for their Christian values. I want to cheer in college because I believe that a cheer program can bring school spirit to the school, and help get more kids involved. I can bring energy, stunts and tumbling to the Bryan Cheer team."

'"Amy has a great personality and energy she brings when she cheers. Her positive attitude will not only show for herself in an 'I can' way, but also for the team in a 'we can' way! She is versatile with her stunting and I know she will be a great asset to the Bryan cheer team," commented Bryan Head Coach Janice Perron.
