The Lions hosted the Crusaders of Tennessee Temple University on Tuesday night. Bryan defeated Temple at Temple earlier this season, 12-1 in 8 innings. The Lions dominated again, as they won 16-6 in 7 innings.
  

The Lions tied a season-high with 21 hits in the game. Jonathan Davis, Joseph Delrosario, Steven Brown, and Josh King had 3 hits apiece. Pablo Rodriguez, Shane Clawson, and Jonathan Brown added 2 hits apiece. Joseph Delrosario led the team in runs batted in with 4, three of which came from a 3-run homerun he hit in the third inning. Josh King had 3 RBIs, including a solo homerun to kickoff the Lions' big 6-run inning in the fourth.

Josh Harris started on the mound for the Lions. He pitched 5 innings, giving up 4 runs on 8 hits. He also, struck out 3 batters as he received the win. Josh Smith pitched the last two innings. He gave up 2 runs on 2 hits, and he struck out 2 batters as well.

The Lions are now 16-23 overall. They play again in a conference 3-game series this weekend at home against Milligan. The Buffs are currently sitting at the top of the conference and are ranked 25th in the nation. The Friday night game is scheduled to start at 6:00pm ET, and the Saturday doubleheader is scheduled to start at 1:00pm ET.
