The Lions competed in a tripleheader on Wednesday at Bluefield College. The series was supposed to take place last weekend, but was rescheduled due to the weather. The team made the trip to Bluefield, VA, on Monday morning with intent to play the series on Monday and Tuesday. However, due to continuing bad weather, the games were cancelled on both days. With the season wrapping up and both teams having series this weekend, they were forced to play a tripleheader.

Unfortunately, the Lions fell in all three games. They lost 5-2, 3-0, 10-2. Tyson Latham pitched well in game two. Pablo Rodriguez hit his 10th homerun of the season in game three. Zach Hensley hit his 1st career homerun in game three.

The Lions are now 20-30 overall and 11-13 in the AAC. They play again this weekend in a 3-game series at Union College (KY). The doubleheader will be played on Friday, starting at 1:30pm ET. The single 9-inning game is scheduled to start at 1:00pm ET on Saturday.
