Father Ryan senior Anthony Simpson signed scholarship papers to continue his athletic pursuits with the Bryan College track & field and cross country programs. The three-sport athlete was 16th at the 2009 Tennessee Division II State Cross Country Championships. This winter, Simpson finished third in the TSSAA Division II Wrestling Championship at the 119-pound weight class and helped Father Ryan capture the State Duals Championship.

"It has been a pleasure getting to know Anthony during the recruiting process, and we look forward to his future in a Lion uniform. Everyone that knows Anthony speaks very highly of what he brings to their programs on and off the field," stated Bryan Head Coach Rodney Stoker.
